Summary
A 1:25 variation comic cover for Icon and & Rocket: Season One, to celebrate the return of Milestone Comics after nearly two decades. Milestone Comics was founded in 1993 by a coalition of African-American artists and writers to bring in more black representation in American comics, bringing heroes like Static, Icon and Rocket to existence.
Inspiration
Rocket is incredibly smart and powerful, she was actually the one who inspired Icon to use his powers to fight for justice. She is also the first (and I believe the only) single mother superhero in comic universe💪🏽This piece is paying homage to the 90s when the comic was originally released, while also imagining what she would look like if she was posing for a magazine cover today.
